Day 1....

Well I started in a good round number. Right? I haven't seen a number this high for a long time. Years in fact. That both pisses me off and scares me to death. I don't want to be this big for the rest of my life. I really don't. So here is my before picture.

Scary yes. Permanent no. I will never see this again. Never. So good bye to 180lbs and hello to healthy. Seriously I mean it this time. Really.

So what have I done about it today? I did my first P90X workout, Chest and Shoulders. Ouch, Pull-ups and Push-ups. my favorite... not. Maybe once I can do them without struggling I will start to love them. Maybe. I have saved the Ab Ripper X portion of the workout for later this afternoon. I like to split my workouts up through the day so that I don't get too sedentary for the rest of my day.

So now that you have seen my start, here is my goal. My current goal is to get to 160lbs by Christmas. That is 20 lbs in 20 weeks. That is SO reasonable. Even with my starting a new job and having the holidays in there.; I can do it, and I will do it. I will.
